BEFORE THE SURGERY

Before Your Surgery at North Western Clinic

As you get ready for your transformative journey with North Western Clinic, we want to make sure your experience is as seamless and comfortable as possible. Here’s a guide to help you prepare for your journey and surgery:

Preparing for Your Trip

Packing for Surgery:

  • Pack comfortable, loose-fitting clothing to wear after your surgery.
  • Remember to bring all necessary personal care items.

Travel Essentials:

  • Ensure you have sufficient cash for any out-of-pocket expenses during your stay.
  • Check the validity of your passport and any travel documents. Your passport should be valid for at least six months from your travel date.
  • Confirm your flight information and have a copy of your itinerary handy.

Health and Medications:

  • Bring a list of any medications you are currently taking, and be prepared to discuss these with our medical team.
  • If you have any medical reports or recent test results, please bring them with you.

Arrival and Transportation

Airport Pickup:

  • We will meet you at the airport upon your arrival and provide transportation to your hotel or directly to the hospital, depending on the timing of your surgery.

The Day Before Surgery

Relaxation and Comfort:

  • Spend your day relaxing at your hotel. It’s important to be well-rested for your procedure.
  • If you have any last-minute questions or concerns, our team is available to assist you.

Fasting Before Surgery:

  • Please do not eat or drink anything 12 hours before your surgery, including water, coffee, and chewing gum. This is a necessary step to ensure your safety during anesthesia.

Our Commitment to You

Your health, safety, and comfort are our top priorities. The North Western Clinic team is dedicated to providing you with comprehensive care from the moment you arrive until your successful recovery and departure. We are here to make your medical journey as smooth and comfortable as possible.
